All students and recent graduates are welcome.
CodeRED is a 24 hours hackathon, organized by CougarCS, the largest computer science organization at the University of Houston. It's an event for people to come together and innovate by pushing their limits to create something amazing!
Want to learn something new? Come join us at CodeRED Artemis to solve real-life problems, explore new possibilities, and shoot for the moon.
All students and recent graduates are welcome.
Registrations have closed, please check back next year for our next event.
Don't worry! CodeRED is designed to be beginner friendly. We will be having plenty of resources, workshops and mentors to point you in the right direction.
Not a dollar! It's completely free. We'll be providing snacks, meals and drinks as well.
That's pretty common, you'll have some time before and at the beginning of the event to meet other participants who are looking for a team as well. We highly recommend that you team up with someone and make new friends.
A team may have a maximum of 4 people, though you can go solo too.
We know Hackathons and swag go hand in hand like peanut butter and jelly so, of course there will be swag!!!
The moon duh... it can stay out all night. (Okay, we'll stop with the Artemis jokes now.)
Feel free to reach out to us at hackathon@cougarcs.com or on Twitter @CodeRED_HOU
Without the support and incredible interaction between students, mentors, and our partners, CodeRED would not be possible.
Join us in accelerating the future of Houston's innovators
and cultivating our world-class maker community.
